Atlanta's Best
Fine Dining.
When I'm closing a deal or taking clients out, the restaurant matters. Atlanta's dining scene has grown into something genuinely impressive — and these are the rooms I keep returning to.
Atlanta has quietly become one of the best food cities in the South. From tasting menus on Peachtree to globally-influenced kitchens in Midtown, the fine dining scene here is polished, diverse, and — importantly — approachable. You don't need a velvet jacket. You just need a reservation.
I've brought clients, friends, and family to these restaurants over the years. They're the spots I trust when the occasion calls for more than a weeknight dinner. Here's where I go.
Nan Thai Fine Dining
An Atlanta institution for refined Thai cuisine. Nan Thai has earned its reputation through consistently excellent food, elegant plating, and an atmosphere that works as well for a client dinner as it does for a date night. The tasting menu is worth exploring — it's the kind of place that reminds you why dining out matters.
Lazy Betty
A Midtown fine dining spot that leans into seasonal Southern ingredients with a modern sensibility. The tasting menu changes regularly, and the wine pairings are thoughtful without being pretentious. It's intimate, well-paced, and exactly where I take someone when the conversation matters as much as the food.
Prime on Peachtree
A polished steakhouse on Peachtree that gets the fundamentals right — quality cuts, attentive service, and a wine list that covers the bases without overwhelming you. The private dining rooms make it a strong option when you need the setting to match the occasion.
The Consulate Restaurant
A global-influenced restaurant in Midtown with a rotating menu that draws from cuisines around the world. The atmosphere is relaxed but refined — dark wood, warm lighting, and a cocktail program worth noting. A good pick when you want something a little different from the usual steakhouse rotation.
Auburn Angel
A newer addition to the Sweet Auburn corridor, Auburn Angel brings an upscale dining experience to one of Atlanta's most historic streets. The menu is creative, the space is well-designed, and it represents the kind of energy that's revitalizing downtown Atlanta's food scene.
Finding the right restaurant is a lot like finding the right home — it's about the feel, the pacing, and whether the details match what you were looking for. Whether you're relocating to Atlanta or just exploring the city, I'm happy to point you in the right direction.
