Atlanta's Best
Rooftop Bars.
Nothing shows you Atlanta like a view from above. Whether I'm bringing a client to see the skyline or winding down after a long closing, these rooftops are where I go to remember why I love this city.
Atlanta's skyline has changed dramatically over the past decade, and the rooftop scene has evolved right along with it. There's something about seeing the city from above that shifts your perspective — and in a real estate market this dynamic, perspective is everything.
I've spent years taking clients to these spots — partly because the views sell the lifestyle, and partly because I genuinely enjoy them. Here are the rooftops I recommend most.
The Roof at Ponce City Market
The rooftop that put Atlanta on the national map. Ponce City Market's rooftop has panoramic views of the city skyline, a mix of food vendors, cocktail bars, and even a retro amusement area. On a clear evening, it's the best seat in the city. Perfect for bringing out-of-town clients who want the full Atlanta experience.
SkyLounge at The Glenn
Perched above downtown on the 11th floor of The Glenn Hotel, SkyLounge delivers unobstructed views of the Centennial Olympic Park area and the Midtown skyline beyond. The cocktail menu is solid, the crowd is lively, and the sunset views are hard to beat. It's my go-to when someone wants to see what Atlanta looks like from above.
1231 Rooftop Bar
A Midtown rooftop with a more refined, low-key atmosphere. The views stretch across the Midtown skyline, and the bar program is well-curated. Less about the party, more about the setting — which is exactly why I like it. A good spot for a quieter evening with a client or a friend.
Drawbar at The Bellyard
Tucked into the Westside's Interlock development, Drawbar offers a rooftop-level perspective on one of Atlanta's fastest-changing neighborhoods. The cocktails are creative, the food holds its own, and the crowd skews toward people who appreciate design and detail. It's a newer spot, but it already feels like a staple.
Atlanta rewards people who take the time to explore it. If you're relocating or just getting to know the city, these rooftops are a good place to start — they'll give you a sense of the skyline, the neighborhoods, and the energy that makes Atlanta home.
